I have come to face the inevitable problem (nearly) every early twenty something slacker must face. And that is the possibility of moving back in with good old mom and dad. Without revealing too much baggage given to me by good old mom and dad, which I am forced to carry with me day in and day out, this is a hopeful move rather than a painful one.
The positive side to this weary decision is the fact that the money that slips from my possession month after month to a place that isn't really mine can now go to a wonderful trip. The destination is Italy. For about a month, I shall occupy a floor in the apartment in a good friend's flat in Italy whilst he attends grad school. After this month, we'll be free to go anywhere and everywhere. The plan is France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, England, Scotland, Egypt(?), etc.
What this all boils down to is...
I need to get the fuck out of Albuquerque.

Cheers for the album info! I'm listening to 'Satanic panic..' as I type this. Is Albuquerque that bad? It's name makes it sound fantastically exotic and it gets mentioned in Jimmy Webb's 'By the time I get to Phoenix'
I hope the move back to the parental gaff goes smoothly, I moved back briefly after University and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was a lot easier living with them than in my teens when we'd argue constantly (I was a right horror from the age of 14-17) The trip to Italy sounds very good! I've never been myself, which is feeble given that it's relatively cheap and easy to get too from Scotland.
Blimey that's a big move! Whereabouts in England are you heading for?
Nothing wrong with Hull at all, it is slightly isolated from other major towns and cities, but has a very definite character of it's own. I have a huge soft spot for Hull as a friend of mine went to University there and we always had a rare old time when we went up there. Are you going to be studying there?
And it doesn't smell of fish despite what some people say!
